You CAN go home again!
This was my first visit back to my hometown in 40 years, and this stay was perfect. We had a room with a nice view, the staff is incredibly welcoming, the bed comfortable and the room ample sized, complete with microwave and fridge, stocked for breakfast. Walk to the beach, walk on the beach! Just super.
A Wonderful Escape
My husband and I needed a few days break from our busy hectic work schedules. Goggled the closest beach and found this wonderful little Inn. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. We were less than a minute from the beach. We had a very relaxing 3 days. The staff here is VERY friendly and helpful. We loved it so much we are planning a week long stay next year. What a great find and VERY reasonably priced.
Wonderful Stay!
We had to travel to Fairfield for a medical procedure and needed a place to stay for a couple of days. I found the Inn online and decided to give them a call and see if they had any openings. After explaining our situation the staff were so incredibly accommodating. We needed to move rooms halfway into our stay and they moved all of our belongings for us while we were at the doctor’s office so that we wouldn’t have to do it when we got back. Each staff member we encountered was courteous, incredibly kind and just overall great people. They made what was initially a very anxious time for us that much easier and we are very grateful.
Wonderful Place to Stay
The staff goes way out of their way to make sure your happy! The room was larger than I anticipated and had all amenities of home. Excellent coffee in room, a fresh muffin and bottle of orange juice was provided daily, along with beach chairs and towels. Inn is located in a very good area with private access to the beach. The Inn is especially nice for an extended stay. I definitely will stay there again.
Unexpected Surprise
I can’t say enough nice things about this establishment. Clean, updated and a very accommodating staff. Four nights with members of my extended family in a suite with two baths, two double beds, two couches, mini-fridge and a coffee maker. Muffins and orange juice left in the mini-fridge every day along with clean linens and room cleaning. We considered the adjoining bar a plus. No need to worry about driving!
I LOVED This Place
I stayed here for two nights and loved the proximity to the water. I loved the proximity to the pub. And I liked that it was more like a small studio apartment than a hotel room. It has a mom and pop flavor to it which is also refreshing to me. I also liked that my suite had a sitting area where I could work and entertain. This place turned my business travel into a vacation.
What a Gem of a Place!
We were visiting for Fairfield University with our daughter and decided to stay a few days in the area. Not knowing the area, we asked at the Admissions Dept. of the college for recommendations. They gave us the phone number of the Inn at Fairfield Beach. What a wonderful surprise this little family-owned hotel was! Located only steps from the beach, this is one of the most charming places I’ve ever staying in. The three-story hotel has wrap around balconies just teeming with purple petunias and coral-colored begonias in flower boxes with American Flags in them. The rooms are neat as a pin and you could eat off the floors. We stayed in the Celestial Suite and found the celestial-themed decor to be in excellent taste and not overdone at all. The linens were spotless and the bathroom was equally spotless with a nice supply of shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion and makeup remover. Where else can you get a room with a view of the Long Island Sound, a balcony, a kitchen with complementary in-room muffins, OJ and coffee each morning and a gas fireplace all for $148.00 a night? I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation and would highly recommend it to anyone as an outstanding value and very, very clean.
